Who needs the MDAC?

Most foreign visitors entering Malaysia. Some nationalities, such as Singapore citizens and permanent residents, are exempt — check before you fly.

When to submit

Within 3 days before arrival. If you submit too early the system may reject it, so we hold early orders and file them when the window opens.

What you'll need

Passport details and nationality
Arrival and departure dates
Mode of travel and flight/transport number
Accommodation address in Malaysia
Email and phone number for the confirmation PIN

Tips before you file

You will receive a confirmation PIN by email — keep it.
Travellers eligible for autogates may still need an MDAC.
Enter your name exactly as printed in your passport.
